Food great, service unforgivably slow!! Ordered takeout at 6:50pm and was told it would be an hour. Arrive at Thai Pepper at 7:50 and waited another full HOUR for our food!! 2 hours for takeout?? Terrible!
Great Thai food. I know nothing about Thai food or culture, but I get the impression that this place is fairly authentic.
Yellow Curry is great. Not too spicy, so if you are like me and a wuss when it comes to spicy food, you'll be fine.
We are big fans of Thai food, but more often than not we run into places that advertise Thai cooking but we arrive to find out there's a few dishes of "Southeast Asian" food. From first glance Thai Pepper looks like just another such place in a strip mall in Brampton. Don't be fooled. The food here is at or near the best we've ever had anywhere. We are hesitant to be so strong in our praise, in the fear that this will be mistaken as mere hyperbole, but our experience with the food was that it was on par with places that are much more expensive. It was authentically Thai, very tasty and an excellent value. That this place is in our neighbourhood means that we will be back many times. What a nice surprise to find this gem in our own backyard.
My husband and i went to this restaurant based on reviews that this place served authentic thai. We were dissapointed.
The curry was bland. The pad thai was too sweet. The service was poor.
